Why do I need a Personal Trainer?
Personal trainers are there to help you keep focused and motivated and achieve your fitness goals. You need a personal trainer to ensure you are doing the correct exercises, the correct repetitions and using the correct techniques to ensure you don't injure yourself.

How long before I see results?
This depends on how often you attend your sessions. If you train with a personal trainer once a week, and do other gym training sessions on your own (1-3 times a week) you should start to feel results within 2 weeks and see results after a month.

What are the benefits of using a personal trainer?
The benefits of training regularly with a personal trainer are numerous. You have someone who helps you understand exactly what you want to achieve and helps you set quantifiable goals.
They will select the correct exercises for you so you meet your goals sooner. They set up a training programme for you so you have some focus when you train on other days at the gym.
Personal trainers also keep you motivated and support you through your training. They also ensure you don't over train or exert yourself.

Will you be able to help me set fitness goals?
The clearer you can be on what you are looking to achieve, the happier we are. We will try understand your motivations and look to set actual measurements to your goals. How do you know what you've achieved if you cant measure it? We find this really is motivating when our clients actually see real results.

How will I see an improvement, do you monitor my performance?

So what happens when my training programme comes to an end?
Hopefully when you finish your training programme you will feel more confident to train on your own. You will have learnt solid techniques and you should have picked up good training habits. Your motivation levels should still be high. We do, however, offer Back On Track programmes (refresher sessions), where you can book yourself in for a session to keep yourself on track.

If you have any food allergies, diabetes or eating disorders, we can recommend you to a nutritionist/ dietician.

I am really overweight and scared of coming to a gym. Any advice?
Sometimes starting something new is scary, but at least you are thinking about changing your current lifestyle. Paul is very friendly and approachable, and you can discuss all your worries when you meet for your free consultation in a relaxed atmosphere.
We would recommend though that before you start any exercise programme that you consult your doctor first.
